Since graduating from art school in 2000 Finn has been working to help foster artistic growth in the community by developing and running art programmes. These programmes are often run with young people who have been alienated from mainstream schooling and are considered ‘At Risk Youth’. This term refers to the possibility of these young people becoming completely disengaged from education and their local communities.
By running highly successful and challenging projects Finn is able to model positive and productive ways to channel creativity. These projects also encourage young people to develop self confidence and a sense of accomplishment. Many of the art works created went on to win art competitions and be sold as part of fundraising events. Finn continues to develop and run art projects for all age groups.
